| Job Description | Job Description: The Application Provisioning team is responsible for creating enterprise scale, cloud ready, next generation application provisioning product. Participate in all stages of development from proof of concept, implementation to release. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing scalable products for the cloud. Understands how complex enterprise applications are deployed and has the ability to automate such deployments. Designing for richness, flexibility, preciseness, performance, reliability and scalability is critical. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years experience building & deploying enterprise applications on Windows - Expert level knowledge in Windows Powershell & cmd shell - Knowledge of packaging & install applications like InstallShield, Wise, InstallAnywhere - Knowledge of Java or C# programming with multi-threading - Knowledge of XML/JSON, XML Schema - Strong in OS fundamentals, device mapping, storage & networking concepts - Strong debugging skills in a large automated deployment environment - Domain knowledge of Windows applications such as Sharepoint, Exchange - Understanding of clustering, scaling, high availability & DR technologies - Experience deploying applications to cloud environments – EC2, VMware, OpenStack a big plus - Exposure to how IT departments in enterprises operate - Hands on experience administering Windows environments in enterprises a big plus - Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks, as well as problem solve issues - Positive, can-do attitude, self-starter, enthusiastic personality - Able to work well both independently and as a team member - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. |
